In order to enhance business potentials of Jepara furniture and handicraft products to a global market, Central Java, PT Emporia Digital Raya (Emporia Digital) together with the Association of Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft (AIFH) held a seminar as well as a discussion, with a theme ‘Reaching The World Market with Technology’. The event was held at The Season Premiere Hotel on Wednesday (20/4), it was also attended by the Regent of Jepara, Ahmad Marzuki.
Managing Director of Emporia Digital, Fernando Wangsa said the industry in Jepara, especially furniture is a prolific industry. Moreover, Jepara is already a household name both inside and outside Indonesia. But unfortunately, there are still many businesses that do not become brand owner.
"That's what Emporia Digital is aiming to help with, for brands to be recognized more widely. Today the competition is more open; businesses would need a strategy to survive or grow even further, "said Fernando.
